After playing with the Meccano robots, I realized my goal of creating a voice-controlled robot would have to extend elsewhere – I could not directly interface with them and send commands…after some more research evaluating everything I could find in the way of reasonably priced humanoid robots, it appeared that the Robotis Bioloid series might allow me to accomplish the goal since I should be able to get deeper into its controller and its programming…
